Christmas Decorating Contest
Light-Up the Town!
The Downtown Waynesboro Committee sponsors a city wide Christmas Decorating Contest. The contest is a free city wide event open to all businesses and residents located inside the Waynesboro city limits. Judging standards are based on creativeness, lights and decorations, originality and overall appearance. Cash prizes are awarded for best decorated in two categories, residential and commercial. Winners are announced during the “Christmas on the Square” event. There is no cost to enter for any resident who lives inside the city limits and any business as well. Participants are required to register by contacting the Downtown Waynesboro Committee via email at downtownwaynesborocommittee@gmail.com.
